Quick Wiring Question

Discussion in 'Pickups & Electronics [BG]' started by Joeymarshmallow, Feb 24, 2008.

  1. What kind of wire should I use to connect all my wiring? I'd like to just get a spoil of copper wire or whatever and some shrink tubing (?) but what gauge and whatnot do I need?

    Wiring for what?

  3. Sorry, I'm modding my Squier P-bass, I'm rewiring the pots and (aftermarket) pickups because the connections were not solid.

  4. I think 22 gauge is used in most internal wiring.

22 gauge stranded copper wiring will work fine. You don't really need heat shrink tubing, at least not for any standard P-bass wiring I can think of.

  6. Looks neater, not that it matters that much :p
