Bob may have been dealing with very severe back pain from previous injuries. He had been dealing with this for years, stemming from a car accident in the mid-nineties. Its one thing to have back pain, and to play a bass for hours in pain only complicates it. I remember talking with him about his Elton gig, and he seemed to be in awe that he was living the life he was living. He was a very thankful and appreciative person, and did not take his life and experience for granted. Condolences to his family, and to the band.

  5. Oh God, that's horrible. I'm so sorry for his family and friends. Just very, very sad here. Makes one think.
