R.I.P. Ossie Davis

  1. He was a good actor, and seemed like a genuine nice guy.

    Almost like anybody's grandfather.

    Do The Right Thing wouldn't have been the same without him.

    I guess 87 is a pretty good run for anybody.

    Am I the only guy that keeps getting him confused with the guy who played Cliff's dad on the Cosby show?

    Anyway, RIP for a class act, and a succesful hollywood marriage.

    How about SEVEN decades of performing & 50+ years of marriage.?
    IMO, that's even more impressive.

    I believe he also won an NAACP Image Hall of Fame award for his support of civil rights and humanitarian efforts. He also wrote Malcom X's eulogy.
