I've just recently changed my rig and now i have a svp-pro and a svp 1500 power amp, and i am looking at adding a compressor to my rack. I did a search and it looks like a lot of people like the dbx compressors, i was just curious as to what kind of comprssor you guys would recommend for my setup and how you like them.

  2. This Thread made the rounds a while back. Tons of great information on compressors.

Yep, people here like the dbx's. I personally like 'set it and forget it' compression and found it with the Presonus Comp16. For $99 it was cheap and easy. It uses preset compression with the most used settings for 16 different applications. Input gain and output volume. It's 1/3 rack space, so I velcro it (or screw it) to a universal rack shelf that also has my 1/2 rack space FX processor.
