Is the station playing your material for 4 hours, or is one of your songs going to be played somewhere in that time period?

    Congratulations on the airplay, BTW.:)

We're actually going to play a set live on the radio.

Either that or we'll be playing songs as part of the regular morning programming.

We're all psyched about the appearance. We're guessing the early time slot is good to get our name out in the east coast.

    And thanks!:)

Ok, it's actually less glamourous than I thought. This info came down the pike (at last) to me:

So just keep your ears open for the band playing behind the chatter.

I think I now know why they took so long to get back to us. Still, a gig is a gig...

And before anyone asks any questions, let me state that no body doubles were used on my porn movie scenes.:p

Badtime for me. I would have loved to listen in but its hard to drag a computer around when your running around at work in a hospital setting.

Any recordings of it?? Post em!!

The guitarist brought a boombox and recoded out spots. Here's how it worked:

We were in a soundproof studio adjacent to the studio where the hosts were. Every time they wanted us to play, the engineer would give us a 30 second cue, so we basiccally started playing and the engineer would fade us in in the background until it was time for a commercial or another song. They mentioned us on the air a bunch of times and plugged our gig.

I'll get a tape of it eventually, but I don't think it'll be worth listening to.

We are playing a few songs on a public access TV show in Berkeley next tuesday (hopefully not in the background). I'll see if I can get a recording of that.

There's a sampling of songs on the website, but they're still in a very raw state. The arrangements are now completely different (and stronger).

    Beats me, Mon.:(

I'd have PMed or e-mailed you, but I didn't want to beat anyone over the head with it. Maybe I should start advertising sooner. Therefore:

My band will be playing on "Sound Gallery" on Berkeley channel 25 public access TV next tuesday, december 10 from 5pm-8:30pm. We'll also be plugging out Hotel Utah gig on the 12th.

I'll start a thread about it this coming friday.
