Always one to want to make a great live show, at my last gig I felt a bit restricted by my lead, and the stage was big but I couldn't really go as mad as I wanted.

How much do radio units normally cost (in £)? What are the benefits? What are the disadvantages (ie I heard that you lose volume through them)?

    Cheers for any info.

    Stuck on a rock !
I've been using them for years ever since one of my friends got electrocuted (he was lucky and survived)

Currently I've got quite an old boss diversity system (two Arials) which has taken quite a bit of abuse, but still performs flawlessly. Not found any disadvantages, some people say you lose bass through them (due to the frequency response not being suited for bass) but I've not noticed any difference than with a lead. Volume isn't a problem - there is a volume control on most radio receivers.

In fact a radio system appeared on my ebay uk saved searches this morning

Not interested myself, but the price is quite cheap at the mo'...

Some bugger outbid me on a Nady system by 1p two months ago :(
