Here's a rare bass in wonderful shape. Considering the age, it is in Excellent condition and no issues.

You're checking out a 1993 Warwick Streamer Bolt-on with a French Cherry Body, 3-piece Maple Neck, and Wenge board. These were made in Germany from 1993 to 1995 before Warwick changed the materials and body style a bit and began offering the Streamer LX. What is even rarer is the JJ set up. Most of the four string models are PJ. Since this bass is a '93, it's the first year of production.

Imagine having a Warwick with all the features and growl of the golden era Warwicks, but without the heft and with the tonal flexibility of an Aguilar onboard preamp. This is it.
This slamming little bass weighs 7.25lbs and is loaded with an Aguilar OBP-3 with several options. Controls are Volume with push-pull active/preamp bypass, Blend, Mid boost/cut with with push-pull 400k/800k frequency select, stacked Bass and Treble boost cut. Tons and tons of usable tones here!
It has the original MEC J style pickups and no alterations were made to the bass to install the Aguilar OBP-3.

The neck, fretboard, frets, truss rod, and all electronics are all as they should be. Some of the things that appear to be wear are actually wood figure. Case in point, the dark spot on the neck by the headstock is just the wood grain.

It's currently strung with Pedulla Strings Light Guage and the action is currently set on the low side(1mm relief at the 12th fret and .080" action on each string at the 12th fret). It has room to go up or down.

    More Specs...
Two Piece French Cherry Body with oil finish
Three Piece Maple Neck with Five Piece headstock with Ebony Veneer
Wenge Fingerboard with a very tight grain
    Original Brass Just-A-Nut
    24 Warwick Bell Bronze frets
"West Germany" Warwick tuners (these are the good ones!)
    Two-way adjustable aluminum truss rod
    Warwick two-piece bridge (highly adjustable)

    Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp
Volume (Push-Pull Active/Preamp Bypass), Blend, Mid Boost/Cut (Push-Pull 400-800k), Stacked Bass and Treble boost cut)
    Chrome Hardware
    Warwick Rockbag

Asking $2,200 or best offer for the bass, and shipping only in the USA. PayPal is preferred.

I might be interested in trades, but much rather sell the bass outright. Some stuff I might be interested in:
    Warwick Basses
    Aguilar Gear
    G&L Basses (no jazz basses)

Feel free to make cash or trade offers.... You never know what might interest me. I can add cash to a deal, and might except partial trades plus cash if it's something I like.

Thanks for looking and God Bless!!!

It does sound awesome brother. The Aggie preamp really goes great with Warwick basses IMO....This is the 2nd Warwick I have had with one, and I love them both!!!
Unfortunately, I have no way to make sound clips. My apologies.

That is beautiful! What are the neck/nut dimensions?
Neck looks fairly shallow in pics,is it more D shaped?
I’m looking for something with more of a classic Precision bass feel, only with Jazz bass pickups...this is very interesting.
Also,is the wenge fretboard more like rosewood or ebony?

I have the 5-String version of this bass. I will never part with it! All that Warwick Tone, in a bass you can play All Night Long! (I'll bet that Aggie Pre is a Treat!)

Thank you brother Tony!!!! Yes, the Aggie pre makes this bass even better....I would give anything if I didn't have to get rid of it, but you guys know how it goes. When G.A.S. hits it's hard to deal with lol!!!
