Here is a rare, but very cool Ampeg SVT 212E extension bass cab. It is rated at 200w rms, but I replaced one of the speakers.

Sounds good. Nice and tight like a 410, yet lows and growl of a 15.

Weighs only about 50 lbs. Has casters and it very easy to move.

If you want a cool sounding cab that handles moderate power and volume, and you hate carrying heavy gear, or you play out a lot, or you play in a lot of bands, then this could be your answer ....

I brightened the first photo so you can see the speakers

    $300 local pickup in

Petaluma / Sonoma County, but willing to meet anywhere within 1.5 hours of me so that includes Fairfield, to East Bay, to SF.

I used an Eminence 16 ohm 150w bass speaker. I don't know the model.

    The cab remains 8 ohms...

    ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If the ohms are the same, doesn't half the current go to each speaker? So rating would be governed by the "weakest" speaker.

SUPER rare, never seen one of these before. Looks ported, not sealed? Bet it sounds great and probably a good bit louder than a 410HE.

Wow. I wonder if that's my old cab.
I got mine around 1990(I think) and it didn't have a serial number.
Then moved from St Louis to San Francisco but I can't remember if I took that cab with me or not. D'oh!
    Nice little cab.
