Dang, that’s stunning! Makes me sad that I can’t play a 6’er with my Hobbit hands...

Haha! I hear you. But once you try 6 you won't want to go back. Soloing on these things is so damn fun. Fingering so much easier. Chords., too. Crazy range that you won't need very often depending on your genre/style but my goodness is it fun having that to open up to when you do.

    Good stuff.

Is there any fretbuzz or ware and also can this get like the MTD 635 tones?

Only buzzing I can get at all is low B 21st fret. Never noticed before because I just don't play low B that high up on the fingerboard. No wear to speak of. I am not sure about comparing it to the 635. Some similarities no doubt but it plays a little tighter tonewise and more controlled feelwise than my 635 to me. More sustain, too. This bass has an extremely hard multi-layered neck with a neck through design. Pretty growly and sings. Can get pretty smooth with a nice burp, too. It is just different tone and feelwise to me from the single piece bolt on neck of the 635.

  13. Can't even play my four strings, let alone a six string - however, what an incredibly beautiful bass. GLWTS.
