Rare opportunity

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by dlmarquez, Sep 16, 2008.

  1. I had a very rare opportunity today. I dropped into bass NW and I tried out a Veillette 6 string, a Rick Turner Renaissance 5 string, and a Rob Allen MB2 4 string. All fretless!
Interestingly it only seemed to reinforce my already extant preferences.
I really liked the Rob Allen. I also really like the Turner. It was incredibly light and it had amazing growl for a peizo only!
I see one or both of these in my future!
However If I were to win the lotto, I could see placing 3 orders!

i know the feeling....it started with just one Turner Renaissance and then i just couldn't stop. So much for early retirement.

How was the Veillette six string....Ive been gassing over it (its a great deal for a Veilllette)
