I know Tim C played a Fender Jazz on Evil Empire, and I'm fairly certain that he played a Jazz on the self-titled.

It's definitely a Stingray. I remember seeing him playing one and that tone is unmistakable.
  6. i've NEVER seen tim with anything but a jazz bass, but i could be wrong.
when playing fingerstlye, play aggressively. tim c beats the crap outta his basses (in a good way of course).
  7. no, the first album was indeed a stingray.
