    Hello everyone,
I recently got this amazing bass in a trade.

Rbass SC5 in almost mint conditions (three penpoint dings, no scratches).
    Specs :
34", 19mm strings spacing, figured redwood top, chestnut toneplate, mahogany body.
Maple / wengè neck, jatoba (brazilian cherry) fretboard.
Nordstrand Fat Stacks and Aguilar OBP3 electronics.
Sounds great, the active passive switch and the single coils / humbuckers switch give an amazing sound palette to this beauty.
    Weight is 9lbs 13 oz, 4.45 kg.

No idea if the brass nut is original.
The bass sounds perfectly, no buzz on any fret/string.

Wooden knobs holes have been poorly drilled so they are not perfectly vertical.
Nothing big but I wanted to point it out.
Pots shafts are straight and work perfectly.

Ray's basses have been praised all over Talkbass for its construction quality and sound.

I am letting it go for two reasons :
    - I'm very partial to my MTD and I'm 100% playing it.
    - This is my first single cut, and I cannot get used to it, funny as it may sound it's one of the reasons I'm letting it go.

That said I'm open to trades and to offers: mainly looking for another MTD or a Sadowsky (with obvious cash on my side) but I will consider any interesting instrument, but please let it be a five strings fretted, no maple board (in the 2300-2500$ area value).
The worst I can do is to say no, thanks :)

The bass I wanted has gone so this goes back to trade only status.

    Eye candy here : RBASS

How’s it going? Long time no talk. What’s the neck 34” or 35”?

Weight? String Spacing at the bridge?

Just got one last week. Plain flat black w maple one piece (didn’t know he did that) Ulyates and John East. Wish it was as pretty as yours, but a superb instrument that is a definite keeper. I’ve got several nice “production” basses, but this showed me the difference between them and a bass made by a real artist. Good luck w your sale.
