i read in another forum that someone thought that the sansamp rbi sounds thin live, when running by itself without an eq with it. any opinions. i'm thinking of selling my svp for an rbi, but i haven't decided yet. i'm going to retube my svp first, then a/b against my bddi and decide from there. but anyways, any opinions?

oh yeah...i use a qsc rmx 850, bridged into my peavey 4 ohm 8x10.

yeah...my bddi doesn't sound thin at all by itself. at practice the other day, our one guitarist said, "it sounds more bad ass than the svp". but i'm wondering if that's just because the svp needs new tubes. the bddi just sounded thicker. i'm seriously thinking about selling my svp for an rbi. one concern is that i don't want too much of a "fieldy" sound. but i think with the blend and mid controls i can avoid that, but then also just get a total monster tone when i want that too. well...time to go a/b them some more.
