RD Bass Wiring HELP!!!

    So, it's me again :D
    I have a set of NOS RD pickups where I want to use a VT Series/Parallel Active/Passive wiring.
    RD Pickups have 3 wires: Black, Red and Orange. I reckon Black should be hot and Red ground from looking at the standard RD wiring. Orange looks like chasis Ground.
    Would that be right?

    I am using a Delano Sonar 3 Preamp, where the Tone potentiometer is already wired with the ressistance on the outer pole.

    They suggest this wiring:

    So, would THIS be correct?
