My upright needs a "re-plane." Can anyone give me an idea of how much this may cost?

In your area I would get a hold of Paul Warburton at (303) 235-0339. He'd know who to go to in Denver.

Contact Bob Monroney via e-mail at bobnlala@attbi.com. He is semi-retired but does good work from what I hear.

At my luthier (portland) it is around $200 to dress the entire fingerboard, but less if he doesn't have to do the whole thing. But I am sure this varies widely from maket to market...

Dave Goodrich (Goodrich Violin Shop) up in Boulder has done mine over the years. He is not cheap, but I believe he is worth it. Probably a couple hundred.

His shop is over Juanita's on the Pearl St. Mall.

I need to have mine re-done as well.... let's see who gets there first!

I called Dave Goodrich, he said he hasn't done bass work in years! But he gave me some other names to look into.
