Well I think it's about time to upgrade the electronics in my Washburn T24 Taurus bass. The stock pots work but give very little variance and act more like off and on switches with 8 numbers in between.

My question comes since this bass has more of a guitar-like pot configuration than a bass one in that it has 2 vol and 2 tone vs 2 vol and 1 tone like most jazz basses do.

Should I just replace everything straight up with new higher quality stuff or is there something creative I could do with this arrangement? I'm going to leave the stock pickups in there for now since they sound pretty good. The bass has really good tone as it is I'm just looking for a little more variance and tigher electronics since I know that they cut corners on the electronics side of things with this bass, even though construction on everything else is superb.

Thanks for any ideas you might have
