    my guitare friend has been playing my fretless bass alot.i defretted my bass bye my self.he like the sound that having no frets give you.so we defreted his frist guitar,its a epiphone strat copy..he loves the thing.

    but i got a ? for you all i know gandl sells guiatre with fretless necks if you order them .but can any one tell me if there any one that plays them like pro or any one.

    Check out Tim Donahue's (not Jerry!) album Voices in the Wind (featuring Paul Rodgers on vocals, Toss Panos on drums and Jaz Lochrie on bass)

    He plays fretless guitar at a level similar to Steve Morse! And he plays lots of chords with flawless intonation!

    Scary, and great music!

  3. I think a main reason not many pros play them is because of the difficulty in playing chords with no frets.
