    How would you play someting like this?

    --|----o------------||--And so on

    My failed attempt to make a staff...:D
    How would I play the part with all 3 notes in a row?

    Your guess is as good as mine, but what i would think is you take 3 fingers and pluck them all at the same time, or strum through them really quick. but i really don't know if that is how you play it.
  3. i would guess the notes would be played at the same time
    ie. grab all three strings and yank assuming 5 string they would be E-A-D
    check out http://www.activebass.com they have a good write up on reading tab

    Use either thumb, index and middle or index, middle and ring fingers to sound the E, A and D strings simultaneously, the thumb to sound the B, and the thumb or index finger to sound the E.
