    Okay, so I need a new amp. I just don't know what is right for me. I'm rocking a Squier J-Bass, and my current amp is a little 50W Peavy and it's not right for me. I have been playing for 4 years and want an amp that shakes the walls and annoys the neighbors, and one that will have nice soft, warm sound to it.I was looking at this Gallien-Krueger Backline 600/Goldline 4x10 Stack. IS this right for me?

    Thanks. :bassist::)

    This cab is darn heavy for what it is.

    You may wish to check out Portable amps, cabs and combos for ideas on what to try out at music stores before you buy anything.

    A rig which makes one's ears, wallet, and back happy is a beautiful thing. :)
