I don't have a whole lot to look forward to this season as a Raiders fan. :( :atoz:

..............except maybe landing USC DE JaDaveon Clowney with the 1st overall pick in 2014's draft.

Just wondering who else is into it, and who your team is?

Looking forward to reading the discussion here.
  2. I'm looking forward to the season, but I don't give two poops who wins.

I'm pretty excited, as a Texans fan I think I have alot to look forward to. We had a really good off season, and should be one of the top 2 teams in the AFC, assuming a few key players can stay healthy this year.

Packer fan here. If the defense can improve and the run game improves, watch out. Lot of if's in Green Bay this pre-season.

I think you guys are going to be challenged a bit this year, but GB should still win their division.

The Bears aren't and neither am I......
  8. As another Raiders fan, I too am hoping for a terrible season to snag Clowney. How long has it been since we had a first round pick? Too long.

My Dolphins *might* be able to squeak out a goodly number of wins in an AFC East division that seems to get worse by the day. But even if they somehow made it into the playoffs (still highly doubtful), they'd get smacked around.

My secondary team, the Bears, are going nowhere.

Niners fan here. They came up just a bit short last year but I think this year they got a shot at winning it all. Definitely heading to the playoffs if everyone stays healthy. So far they're not doing too well in that department!

As a Rams fan, I cant wait.
  14. I dreamt last night that the Dolphins won this season's Super Bowl (and I'm not making this up - I really did!). :) You are entirely free to believe that I have spooky powers of prediction in my dreams!

May I ask what your opinion is of their new uniforms? Do you prefer them to the old ones?

Dolphins on the rise. Philbin was a good hire. If not this year then next year although with the Patriots issues maybe they can get it done.

Packers fan and shareholder. I think they should win the division but I don't see them going much further. Too many injuries now. I can see them getting off to a slow start.

I hope the Dolphins do well this season. I have no family, historical, or regional ties to the team, I just like their coach.

  18. Cowboys fan here - my enthusiasm for the season is the ultimate triumph of hope versus experience.

I can't wait for the season to start. I'm a football junkie. High School, College and pros it's all good to me.

I'm a life long Rams fan so the jury is out in what the season looks like. I think we have a legit chance of being a playoff team for the first time on years. Fisher is making a lot of positive changes.

I'm a Pac-12 fan as well. I'm a Stanford fan simply because that school requires a very high academic standard and that eligibility must be met before you are admitted even if you are the greatest athlete in the world. They may not be a threat to win a major bowl game because of that but bit gives me great respect for the program. Notre Dame is also like that and they graduate most of their players.
