The Tobacco Burst is Classy but the Turquoise really pops with the Chrome Hardware

I think the turquoise looks better with the Reverend shape(which I really like) than the burst. The burst seems to take something away from the shape IMHO.

  4. With that flame top and the shape its hands down the turquoise for me. The violin doesn't do it justice. Maybe if it was ash I'd say violinburst. But with the flame maple its turquoise all day long

I dig the shape of the Revs also and I agree. The Turquoise makes it jump

You are gonna have to take the brown one as the Turquoise is mine.
Just kidding, I think I am gonna go with the clear Thundergun but haven't made up my mind.
These are absolutely gorgeous basses. I actually like both these colors and would be happy with either one.

I'm going to have to vote for the tobacco/violin. That turquoise reminds me of the wall-full of cheap Charvel guitars in the local guitar shop. To make them even more appealing Charvel called the color "transparent blue smear". Lovely. (That's sarcasm BTW)

Normally I vote for blue. But not this blue.

I was looking at this model a couple of weeks ago. My preference is for the Brownburst. But the turquoise is sweet if you're into solid colours. I'm sure you'll enjoy the bass which ever finish you choose.

I started out digging the Turquoise but the Honey over Flame seems to be the perfect combination of both previous looks.

The best part is it's a one off. I'll have one of the only ones produced.

Dang, that's something you don't see every day. Very cool. Either one is stunning, but I gotta go with the turquoise perfection...

Have you picked the Mercalli bass up yet? Post your impressions when you get it.
I am ordering I think the violin brown burst flame maple; hopefully by the end of the week. I am getting a 4-banger as I don't care for 5's. They also have a copper (no turquoise) that I think the screen shot probably doesn't do justice. I am 75% sure I will get the brown burst but that copper is pulling on me.
