Ready to re-learn

I am going to unlearn what I have learned as far as bass playing. I have played very little for many years but it mainly centered around rock (mostly thrash metal, with some christian rock thrown in for good measure.)

I am absolutely a blank slate with slapping, popping, etc. but I can't hear enough of it! It kicks so much ass I am going to work night and day until I can feel a groove! There are many great minds here I am going to soak up your knowledge as best I can (and I'm going to watch a lot of youtube videos) and when I need inspiration I go back and watch Gianni Serino!

I have a btb576fm coming in the mail anyday, so my 4 string bc rich bich will have to cool off for a while...
