Looks like a clone of some sort.
Egads, that string tree.
I saw that. Who does that and why?
I see that the Custom shop are using Wilkinson tuners now? They must have cost oh, £25?
I think we could safely say this is "a bit dodgy?"
I asked the guy selling it what kind of neck. He Said he knows nothing about the bass this is how he got it. Still not a bad looking bass.
Lol....truss rod access at the top of the neck on a "Custom Shop".
magic8161 : we all know that you want that piece. act on your urge. get it now.
(don't do it)
Is it like an unspoken rule or something that when one lists a fake Fender for sale, they must do the most ridiculous thing possible with regards to how the bass is strung?
Not real. I mean, it's a bass, but it's not a Custom Shop Fender bass!
Am I crazy, or is it a common theme???
Oh it's common. This is one of the weirder ones I've seen, though. The other common thing is putting the bridge saddles through the string holes on the bridge, and the strings through the holes the saddles are supposed to go through. Both are truly baffling!
I'd buy that for a dollah.
I'm gonna go with not real, but a cool bass if the price is reasonable.
Lol. I didn't even notice that. The placement of the decal is bothering me though.
I'm no expert, but why do the tuners say "Wilkinson" on the back?
Not real. Not Fender. None of it.
Pretty sure 'Wilkinson' is French for 'Fender Custom Shop'.
The guy wants $450 or trade for a tele. Chicago craigs list. Looks prettty though.
