The other day I was playing with a trio and noticed that I could hear the guitar player behind me, but his amp was in front of me. As I listened closer I discovered that he was also being amplified through my amp and have since noticed that evrything else also comes through my amp. I have recently installed the Realist on my DB. Is this a common problem with the realist and other DB pickups? How should I fix the problem? It's pretty annoying.

I think it has to do with the fact that the top of your instrument is responding sympathetically to the guitarist's amp. If you don't have enough room to move things around on stage, you might want to look into one of those plexiglass acoustic baffles that people put up around bass drums.
