Really basic Photoshop help?

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by parrott, May 20, 2003.

  1. 'cos I'm worse than a newb with it.

Anyways, I'm at college, got Photoshop 6.

I need to do two things with a picture - make it black & white, and rotate it 90degrees so the person in it is upright.

Those should be basic, easy tasks, yeah? Well guess who can't do them......

    Here you go.
    Go to image>mode>grayscale
or ctrl+u then brightness all the way up, edit, fade>mode:color

to rotate go to image>rotate canvas, 90cw or ccw
  3. Thank you!

  4. Desaturate is ctrl+shift+u, or image>adjust>desaturate

rotate canvas is alt i e 9 for 90 degrees clockwise rotation, alt i e 0 for counterclockwise, or image>rotate canvas>[whichever option is appropriate]
