  2. I'm fairly certain that everyone feels like that when they get their own Geddy.

IMO the best Fender bass out in production now.

Get ready to be VERY happy. Worst case you may need to have it set up properly, but, after that, watch out... it's addictive...

Congrats! Good choice (I just bought my Geddy about a month ago) Within a day of getting my hands on mine, I decided that from here on out I will be a "one woman man" when it comes to my basses - the Geddy is the only bass I need and I really don't think I'll ever need or want another bass again. I don't usually name instruments, but I've been calling this one "wife". It's that good. I'm glad to see that you also went with the black, they look very nice in that finish. ;)

Nice bass, i have like 250$ right now and i'm saving up to get a geddy. When i played i was a little sceptical to it sounding as good as everyone said it did but i feel it is easily the best fender out and for that price its to die for. hopefully i'll be getting one in the next couple months.

Nice bass! I saw one at GC today, dreaming about what it would be like to have a 5-string version of it.

I'm going to be getting a GL soon. Would you recommend buying it from BC over Musicians Friend?

  18. So exactly WHY is this THE Fender Bass ? I thought it was a pretty standard mid 70's Jazz; so is the neck just THE shape for a Fender, pick ups different/better in some way, etc.
    Makes me curious.

    thanks alot people!

Why? its a Geddy Lee signature :D well, its the slim and comfy neck, Badass II bridge(adds sustian and clearer tone), neck binding and block inlays, no dead spots, US Vintage jazz pickups, 70s jazz bass body.
Man, that bass is so beautiful, the tone is just so damn nice.
this is gonna be my main bass for a long time :) :hyper:
