anyone know any(..and where to get) good heavy nickel strings? pref... 45/50-110?
DR makes some..
You can get em nearly anywhere. Ebay stores have strings for sale for decent prices usually.
thanks. im still hoping to find some heavy gauge ones. maybe be a dumb question.. but would long scale strings work on a normal 34in scale?
34 inches IS long scale.
I vote D'addario XL's myself. They're great strings and they're always the cheapest in the store. Can't beat that!
"Snarling Dog Sub Woofers" are 50-110 Nickel roundwounds
sweet thanks for clearing that up!
i use d'addario xl's regular gauge (.5-.105) and i love them. they've got great tone and are cheap. once you break them in and they lose that new zingy sound, they have a GREAT fingerstyle tone.
