Recommend me some ABG strings!

My Dean ABG is still wearing its stock phosphor bronze strings, after many years. I actually like the sound of them, but they've developed a sticky feel, and they've got to go.

The obvious choice would be another phosphor bronze. But I'm open to ideas, flats or mellow rounds? Pressurewound bronze?

This is my "around the house" bass and I never plug it in. I lean towards mellow strings, and would like to maintain a decent level of volume and projection.

EDIT also open to just cleaning these, if this sounds like a problem someone has run across before, and There's a method to freshen these up.

GHS Pressurewound Bronze are my first choice and several others here agree with me.

I use and love the Invalid Link Removed set (medium-scale, 32"). They're nylon-core, silverplated-copper-wound rounds, like the lower half of a classical guitar string set (only ...gigantic in comparison). French-made (Savarez also owns the renowned orchestral string brand Corelli), seriously affordable in North America.
The long-scale, 34" version is called Invalid Link Removed. Still dirt cheap, just a little less so.
In fact, they're so inexpensive I strongly believe any ABG player owes it to themselves to try them just to get an idea how nyloncores sound and feel.
Yours truly finds them decently loud when fresh, not nearly as zingy as (new) steel-core bronzes but super growly.
