Years ago, I considered myself a bit of a musicphile. I was really into the whole gamut of music, from Fela Kuti to Alexander Skryabin, from John McLaughlin to Killing Joke, from Bill Laswell to The Orb to Tangerine Dream.

But now that I've been working on a career I haven't had much time to research or listen to the radio like I used to:crying: , so I'm asking you guys to maybe divulge some of your fave CDs, recent or otherwise. I'm especially interested in some of the electronic dub and ambient stuff too.

I know this is a ridiculous way to go about it, but well...see how it goes.

some of the "nu-jazz" is good too

of course st-germain - tourist is a MUST-have (tho its getting older)

there is a TON of great electronic music (I'm actually an electronic music producer by trade)

medesky martin & wood, esp their newer stuff is more modern sounding
