recording 1st time for me!

    HEy im recording a cd for the first time with my band. some give me a few pointers and what to bring. thanx
     
  2. Does your amp have amp have a direct out? otherwise, i would recommend getting a direct out box.

    What and where can I find a direct out box? What is the advantage. I can steal one.
     
  4. they sell them in the recording section of Samash. I'm sure at other big music stores as well. Easiest way to put it is that they process your signal, they balance it out before it gets recorded. If you're multitrack already has mic pre's balanced already for guitar/bass, then you don't need it, but otherwise, i would say get that or if your amp has a Direct out on it. Or you could get a POD or something similar to it.
