We are looking for a 'low-hassle' and cheap way of recording our praise band at church. Can a cd recorder with analog-to-digital capabilites record direct from an analog mixer like a cassette recorder? If so, does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive cd recorder? I saw some on MF ranging from $275 to $500.

I apologize if this has come up before; I did a search and didn't find anything on point.

well if you have a rca out on your board (I dont know what board your using) but youll be stuck with everyone playing at once . So to make this short put the board in another room so some one can get a good mix run your rca's into a puter or a tape deck and record the mix and drop to a cd .I found a roland vs808 recorder used the other day here in alt ga for 500.00 if you want the number to that place ill give it to you shiping is cheap.
