Recording direct through an Eden Navigator Pre-Amp ... anyone done it?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Dave Grossman, Jan 5, 2003.

  1. I'm considering getting a pre-amp to do some recording direct to my PC. I used to use a SansAmp Bass Driver but I'd rather get something more flexible. The SansAmp is great but I'd rather have something closer to my WT-800.

I'm considering an Eden Navigator WT-100. My only concern is that the tube section might introduce some noise. It does on my WT-800 which has made it undesirable for recording direct.

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations in this area?

    Thanks in advance,

Its luck of the draw. The earlier Navigators had a bit of noise coming from the tube section, but Eden has a fix that totally remedies the problem if you're willing to send it in to Eden (something I'd be VERY leerie of right now with their transition to Washburn).

True but if he's thinking about buying one that has a date on the back that reads 10-21-02 and is brand new having never been used he should have no problem:D
