Recording Software

    I was wondering if there is any decent (free) software out there to record on your PC? All I am doing is plugging my bass into the microphone jack on my sound card. I appreciate the responses...Skizz

    I wish it would run on an OS besides Win98.:(

    I agree.... The drummer in my band bought Digi001, and the req. says that it runs only on Win98. But Control24 runs on W2K. I cannot understand why Digi001 doesn´t run on W2K.?!?!
     
  5. Probably because win2k is based on the windows NT kernel. The NT kernel structure doesn't allow programs to talk directly to your hardware, where windows 9X/ME does allow that.

    probably the program wants to communicate with the hardware directly. :)
