Can I recycle my strings? I have a huge wad of um and felt bad for just hucking them. Can I drop them off at my local recycling depo or mail them some where. I probably wouldnt have cared but since theres about 3 years of strings bundled up I dont wanna be wastefull unless it cost a fortune to get rid of um enviromentally :p

Yeah pretty sure you can. Can't you go to your music shop and ask them if they would like to take them off your hands for a small fee?

Here in San Diego, we have a city-sponsored recycling program, so I just toss 'em in the recycling can. I would think any local scrap yard that handles iron would be happy to take them off your hands.
