Red Hot Chili Peppers @ Bernie Fundraiser (Ace Hotel, Los Angeles)
First few songs of the Red Hot Chili Peppers fundraiser for Bernie Sanders at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. Recorded on February 5th, 2016.
    Music starts around 3:00.

Red Hot Chili Peppers staged their first performance of 2016 Friday night at Los Angeles' Ace Hotel at the #FeelTheBern benefit concert for Bernie Sanders, who has gained the support of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band. During the Peppers' career-spanning set, the band also remembered David Bowie with a rendition of the rock legend's Aladdin Sane cut "Cracked Actor":

The night before the primary there was a rally for him at the university where I teach. I didn't go but I saw the posters. Young the Giant, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and a couple of other bands I don't remember off the top of my head were all going to be there, plus a model. It wasn't a political event, it was apparently a stop on the festival circuit.
