How often do you replace the tube in your reddi? I've had mine for a couple years now, with about 10 hrs used per week, and it still sounds great, but I'm wondering if I have just gotten desensitized with great tone or the tube is wearing out. Still sounds great, just not what I remember when I heard the reddi for the very first time.

If I were in your shoes I'd just call A-Designs. I hear the customer service is great and I'm sure they can answer how many hours are in the tube's life.

Preamp tubes can last a long time, so there’s no need to worry if it sounds good. Btw, you might want to delete the duplicate threads to keep things in one place, if you can.

Yes, I believe you can't delete threads, unless someone knows something I don't. I will if someone knows the answer.

If you can’t, you can contact the moderator. See the link “moderator list” on the right above the list of threads in this forum. You will see TBird1958, the mod for list, and could send a private message asking for the dupes to be eliminated.

I play it all. Whatever works for the gig. Q+
I got my original REDDI back in 2005... I still have my original tube running .. It has been on perhaps a couple thousand gigs... On long gig runs it rides in a road case on locals it on my main peddle board..

I have a second REDDI that i leave at home in my small home recording setup..
I thought that i was having a TUBE issue with my Older REDDI but it turned out to be a device i run before it.
