Redeemer DDC 5 for Rodney

    This bass will be for TBer Rodney AKA Six String Poet.

    DDC body shape SC2 headstock
    5 String fretted
    bolt on neck
    34" scale
    24 frets
    Flammed maple top
    Swamp ash core
    Quilted maple bottom
    Wenge accent veneers
    Five laminate neck of Maple and Wenge
    Truss rod with heel access
    Wenge fingerboard
    White side markers
    Body matching headstock top and bottom with wenge accent veneers
    Hipshot B style bridge 19mm (3/4")spacing
    Hipshot Ultralight tuners
    Chrome hardware/knobs
    Redeemer Neodymium stacked buckers*edit
    Audere Z-mode preamp
    Shielded cavities
    Matching pickup and cavity covers
    Poly finish

    Lots of work done on the neck this weekend I've gotten the truss installed, headstock scarfed, headstock laminates glued up, headstock shape roughed out, fingerboard glued on, neck tapered and the fingerboard radius cut to 16.

    With Mr. Poets approval I upgraded his pickups from the single coils to stacked humbuckers. The funk shall be brought!!:bassist:

    Pickup covers roughed out. They will get final shaped once the cavitys are routed.

    Anybody else ever notice that swamp ash smells like stanky feet while being sanded?:eek:

    Hey I'm not gonna say my feet smell like roses so I won't count them out, but I'm pretty sure it's the swamp ash.;)


    Got Rodneys pickup cavity routes done and the covers shaped and drilled. I can't wait to hear this one!:hyper:
