For sale is a circa-1998 Ernie Ball Music Man fretless Stingray with a single humbucker and piezo pickup. Sunburst with matching headstock and tort(!) pickguard, unlined Pau Ferro fingerboard with side dots, beautiful bird's eye maple neck, all original parts. {} I bought this bass in 2015 on TalkBass here. There are a few small dings from use as you'd expect on an almost 20-year old bass; nothing major. The truss rod is fully functional as are the string height/length adjusters. Intonation is dead on and all electronics work properly. It weighs 9 pounds 7 ounces according to my kitchen scale. String spacing is 11 mm at the nut and 19 mm at the bridge. The fingerboard is in great shape, it doesn't look like anyone's ever used round wound strings on it. My new Fodera fretless 5 is getting all my playing time and this one has to go. Bass ships in a like-new Fender hard shell flight case. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a new cardboard box. I'm asking $1150 $1050 $1000, PayPal is fine, contact me for other payment methods. Free delivery anywhere in the Houston area. Will ship to continental US FREE or to Alaska/Hawaii for actual shipping. Will consider shipping to Canada for actual shipping, insurance and duty costs based on sales price. No International shipping, sorry. Feel free to ask questions in the comments or PM me directly. This bass is for sale only, no trades, please. Thank you for your interest! {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
that's one sexy bass! glwts! if I had the money id buy iy in a heartbeat. Maybe if my dimension 5h sells....
Most StingRays only have one pickup, but for the rare ones with dual humbuckers (HH) or humbucker and piezo (HP) there is an additional pickup blend control.
Hoping your area of Heights didn't flood. I'm just outside the loop- narrowly dodged the bullet. Stunning bass. Gas.
Thanks Mike, I am safe and my home was not affected by the flooding. I may end up keeping this one if it doesn't sell.
