SOLD [REDUCED] 2011 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Bass 1 of 400

For sale is a beautiful Gibson Les Paul Goldtop bass with oversized body, this bass is 1 of 400 made. Bass is 9.5 out of 10 only because of light belt marks on back, so superficial I could have not even mentioned - other than that- new mint as is case- perfect! Neck is flawless as is finish and play. The oversize bodies are something like 15% larger than a standard Les Paul bass, which makes them look the right scale for a bass, not like a guitar body with a bass neck glued onto it. I bought this here on Talkbass in 2014. I really wanted to keep this bass because it's so beautiful and it will likely become a collectors item, but I have too many basses and something has to go.



This four-string bass has an arched maple top with chambered Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, a rosewood fretboard, 34-inch scale, with a 1.600" width at the nut. It has a Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, and Hipshot ultralight tuners eliminate the neck dive prevalent on many Gibson basses. Dual humbuckers and Les Paul controls (2 volume, 2 tone and a pickup switch). Look like a rock star just like your guitar-playing buddies!

Comes with an almost-new Gibson strap, and all the case candy. Bass ships in a like-new Gibson hard shell case. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a new cardboard box.
