Had two (needed for a project), sold one and now this one remains.

Extremely light use by adults in pet free, smoke free, air conditioned lab – never outdoors.

Not refurbished or grey market, with original Nikon boxes and standard accessories: genuine HB-75 hood, front cap and rear cap. Will ship with a 72mm UV filter which has always been mounted for protection.

Excellent except for a tiny nick in the filter mount area. It happened while rushing to attach a filter. There is no other damage or reduction of lens performance. No scratches or damage to glass. Some people might not even notice, but I wanted to call it out.

A dramatic step up from the typical 18-55 Nikon kit lens and faster than the older 16-85 3.5-5.6 - no contest indoors or low light.

Price research: $900-$1070 Nikon (when on sale), eBay $500 and up depending on condition/accessories (and caveat emptor!) all plus shipping and sales tax.

Asking: $450 OBO plus a modest $15 for CONUS shipping, no sales tax. This is essentially the trade offer I have from a couple of the Used vendors. PayPal preferred.
