Anyone who's double tracked high gain distortion tracks has probably experienced the effects on reducing high frequency hiss. Copy and pasting a track, then moving one a fraction of a second to the left or right of the other track gets similar results, even before applying LPF.

Has anyone created a pedal that is designed for this purpose? I guess a delay with a really short delay time, 4-10 milliseconds for example, would accomplish this. Anything out there like that?
