Regular Fender pickguards on SX basses?

    Planning on suping up an SX for a backup bass
    Will any replacement guard work on an SX?

    Seems to me that all of the Fender style SX basses are exactly identical specs. However, I am not sure about the 5 string P with a pair jazz pickups..

    I've heard of many 4-string guys having Fender pg's on their SX basses. Most often I read that some filing or dremel tool work is in order to get the best fit though. 5-string SX basses (at least the jazz bass) don't seem to accommodate the Fender pg's so well.
