  1. I see so many posts here on TB about playing in church that I was wondering about the theological nature and habits of the bassists here. Hence, this poll!
  2. poll? Am I missing something?
  3. not missing anything...I think this was meant for the lobby anyway.
  4. There we go, poll is up!
  5. what if we only sometimes play in church?
  6. I would think that counts!

Erm, what if they want me to play at church but I can't make practices, so when track season ends I'll probably do it and (woohoo) stop being the sound guy!

I think I just answered my own question...

I play 4 sets (er, services!) on Sunday every week. It is a huge part of my life. It gives me a sense of purpose to my playing that I've never replicated.

I also have a Christian rock thing going that I've got high hopes for............... we'll see.

    Voted for very religious/don't play.

Yep DarkHarted believes  , though I don't even go to church. I won't even go on about why, as I'd probably get banned ;)

There is great Evil, and great potential for Good...

I put down very religious / play in church, though I don't speak about it too often. I play in a contemporary band in my church, and I wish I could play for at least for one more service a week in a quartet or power trio.
