Is that fret(less)board really steel or what is the name referring to?

Chris: How do you like the Marleaux JB5?

That's just a pun. The model is called Remington and features a stainless steel fingerboard...

If I was the TV show's writer/creator, I would want big royalties - sue their asses!! ;)

Seriously though - do they want to be associated with these fashions :

    1) yes, it's really steel. but don't think it will affect the sound negatively. because that thing sounds unbelievably great.

    2) since this thread is about the remington this will be a short answer. if you have further questions, please pm me. the construction and sound of the jb5 are great. it is very versatile and allows both for a nearly "vintage, original fender jazz" sound but also a more modern, "polished" sound. it works great both live and in the studio. but in cannot be compared to the remington ;)

  9. How much is it? I want one!
Someone ever tried the Vigier basses with Delta Metal™ Fretless Fingerboard?

On the picture is a traditionnal wood fingerboard.

Basses have gotten really weird. Their are some strange body shapes out their. Just call me vintage, every one has a diffrent taste and i can respect that to each his or her own.

  11. what's that you were saying about refusing to use American English, Bruce?

or are you suggesting that Lefay's donkeys should be subject to legal action?;)

I've never said that - anyway it's a phrase that requires the right vernacular - that's what Americans do best!! ;)
