does anyone know how to remove the front grill of an ampeg classic 410?
I recall removing the grill from my 810 classic - I just put a flathead screwdriver between the grill and cabinet and gently wedged one side out. You can pull the rest off by hand. If I remember correctly, the grill is held in place by velcro.
Best way I found to do it is loosen all the screws on the logo a bit and use it to pull the rest of the grille off (I used a putty knife for leverage). It should be attached with velcro. Was a PITA before I figured out the trick.
Looks like you've posted 2 threads on this... anyways, here's the same answer I put in your other thread.
thanks alot guys!! i cant believe i didnt think of that, but i didnt wanna chance messin sumthin up... man those tiny lil velcro pieces are insainly strong.. lol
