im on the notion that the finish can only be removed by sanding, oppose to a thinner/remover; but what about old stickers (stupid kids) on the pickgaurd, its all mounted in the pick guard and its an odd shape, so i dont want to replace it.
im thinking that goo-gone stuff and a putty knife would work but i dont really have a test area.
    whos done this before?
    thanx

  2. Just try that and go slow/be careful, should work

  3. WARNING! Use a Nylon putty knife...a metal one WILL scratch for SURE!

  4. Definately.

  5. You could always just use mineral spirits...

  6. Don't know if you can get it there, but eucalyptus oil works really well.
