removing old paints & finishes

    what products should i use to remove paint & polyurathane finish off my bass? where can i get these products?

    near detroit...uh
    sandpaper!

    some of the chemicals

    (methylene, HHCL4, and NAOH based stripper can soften wood grain too much and "fur" it up

    I highly recommend the "sand the hell out if it" method

    I have a long history with stripping agents

    and unfortunately not the ones from austin powers
