Removing the head from GK RB combo

    It should be possible to remove the head (as it is full featured) from the combo and use it separately.
    Have anyone here done that, and how?

    Did you purchase a top cover, plastic rack case or padded rack-bag to keep it in?

    Another thing: If I put it in a 2 unit rack-bag, will it be a problem that the grill above the cooling fan is covered up? (Will it heat up)

    it is possible- i did before with my old 1001rb/210 combo (well, removed it anyways). gk sells the parts to make it a whole head, i don't know the prices or part #'s though- contact them and they should help you out. as far as the fan, the bag would be fine for transportation but when in use, let that amp breathe man!!! it'll run much better and last longer when it's able to keep itself cool. :bassist:
