    Hi all,
I have a Gibson SG bass reissue that has two split wood damage areas in the cavity where two of the four screws enter. Somebody may have tried to force off the cavity plate without using a screwdriver. I purchased it at a reduced price due to the damage. I was thinking of using super glue! what do you think?
  2. Where the screws go in to hold the cover on? That should be a pretty easy fix. If it's more serious, drill the holes bigger and put in a dowel to fill the hole. Then, just re-drill the holes for the 2 screws.
