Does anyone out there know if there's a way of selecting a portion of an MP3 track to repeat over and over for practicing purposes? I'm using Windows Media Player. Do I need to download another player, or is there some setting that I'm missing in WMP?

If this is possible, is there any way of slowing this repeating portion down (obviously it would have to be without changing the pitch)?

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

    Thanks gang!

I'm pretty sure quicktime can do that...but it might only be the pro version.

you could always get a freeware wave editor and select that portion of the song and tell it to loop that portion(most...if not all sound editing programs can do this)
